Rabbit and Deer Resistant Perennials

Bambi and Thumper are adorable, but they can wreak havoc on your garden! Keep in mind that animals, like humans, have different taste preferences and will also eat just about anything to survive if they are hungry enough. With that in mind, here is a list of blooming perennials we carry that ward of rabbits and deer.


Lavender

Good for incense and aroma therapy. Good for pollinators too!





Catmint

Good for pollinators and fast growing.













Monarda

One of honeybees favorite plants. Exhibits unique and beautiful flowers.






Salvia

Good for pollinators. Drought tolerant and great for xeriscaping.






Delphinium

Prolific bloomer and attracts hummingbirds.















Cardinal Flower

Attracts humming birds. Prefers to be planted in areas that receive full sun.

















Columbine

This plant is a Colorado native, not to mention it's our state flower!






Dead Nettle

This plant is a good spreader and makes for a good ground cover plant. It blooms throughout the season.





Agastache

Has a unique minty smell. Tolerates dry conditions.













Artemesia

Unique, sage-blue foliage. Good for dry, sunny conditions.













Echinacea

Blooms in the fall and is perfect for xeric landscapes.






False Spirea

Good for planting in the shade. These plants are prolific bloomers.
